Hatchback
The most economical way to move through a city, still with a Sarothi.
- Passengers
- 3 seats
- Luggage
- 1 large case
- Driver
- Included
- Air conditioning
- Standard

A compact, air-conditioned hatchback with a professional driver. The right answer for short city journeys, narrow lanes and everyday errands where a larger vehicle is expense without benefit.
When the smallest vehicle is the right one
Old Dhaka is the clearest case. The lanes around Shakhari Bazar and Lalbagh will not take a 4x4 comfortably, parking is genuinely difficult, and a compact car with a driver who knows where to wait is worth more than any amount of cabin space.
The same applies to daily errands, hospital appointments and short hops across a city where the journey is fifteen minutes and the vehicle is simply transport.
What it is not for
Airport collection with real luggage, long highway journeys, wedding work or anything rural. We will tell you that when you enquire rather than taking the booking and letting you find out.
For an airport run, start at the Chauffeur 4x4 or the Executive Saloon; with a family and cases, the 7-seat MPV.
The Sarothi standard still applies
The vehicle is the entry point of our range. The driver is not. Every Nawab Cars hatchback is supplied with the same briefed, named, professionally presented Sarothi as the flagship 4x4 — that part of the service does not scale down with the car.
On the highway, and where the limits are
Within a city this class does everything asked of it. On a long intercity run it is a different conversation, and worth having before rather than after.
A small hybrid is economical and perfectly capable of covering the distance, but five hours on the N2 among heavy freight is more tiring in a light car than in a larger one, and there is no meaningful luggage space once three people are aboard.
For a single traveller or a couple doing an intercity leg without much baggage, it is a sensible choice and we will book it happily. For anything more than that over a long distance, we will point you upward — not to sell you a bigger car, but because the difference is felt by hour three.

Hatchback questions
Is a hatchback suitable for an airport pickup?
Only for a solo traveller with hand luggage. For anything more, an executive saloon or a 4x4 is the sensible minimum, and with a family and cases you need an MPV or microbus.
Is the hatchback air-conditioned?
Yes. Air conditioning is standard on every vehicle in our fleet, including this class.
Is this the cheapest option?
It is the most economical class we operate. Whether it is right for you depends on the journey — we would rather quote you a hatchback and be honest that it fits than sell you something larger you do not need.
Is a hatchback suitable for a long intercity journey?
For one or two people travelling light, yes. For more passengers or a full set of luggage over five hours of highway, a larger vehicle is genuinely more comfortable and we will say so rather than take the booking as it stands.
