How a day of hire actually works
Daily hire is the most common way people rent a car in Bangladesh, and it works differently from Western car rental. You are not collecting keys from a desk — a vehicle and its driver arrive at your address at an agreed time and stay with you for the day.
A standard day is normally counted from pickup and covers a set number of hours and kilometres. Beyond that, extra hours are charged at an agreed rate. We confirm the day's shape with you before it starts so there are no surprises at the end of it.
What a typical day looks like
- Business day
- Collection from your hotel, three or four meetings across the city, waiting between each, return in the evening.
- Family day
- Visiting relatives across several addresses, a market stop, lunch somewhere, home before dark.
- Sightseeing day
- An early start for a day trip out of the city and back, with the driver managing the route and stops.
Choosing the right vehicle for a day
For one or two passengers in a city, an Executive Saloon is usually right. For a family with luggage or an all-day trip out of town, a 7-seat MPV or Executive 4x4 is more comfortable across several hours.

A standard day is commonly counted as a set block of hours from your pickup time, with additional hours available at an agreed rate. We confirm the exact hours and the extra-hour rate in your quote before the day starts.
Can I change my plan during the day?
Yes. That is the main advantage of daily hire over ride-hailing. Tell the driver or message us, and we will confirm any cost difference before it applies.
Is fuel included in daily car hire?
Within the agreed area, yes — our quotes are built to include fuel and the driver's costs so you are not settling extras at the roadside. Long-distance travel outside that area is quoted separately.
Can I hire the same driver for several days?
Yes, and we recommend it. Continuity means the driver already knows your addresses and preferences. Ask about multi-day and monthly hire when you enquire.
