When hourly makes more sense than a full day
Hourly hire suits journeys where the return leg matters as much as the outbound one. A hospital appointment with an unknown finish time. An evening function where taxis are hard to find afterwards. A short round of meetings in one part of the city.
For anything past roughly half a day, daily hire usually works out better value and gives you more freedom to change the plan.
Hourly hire in Dhaka traffic
One practical warning: in Dhaka, distance is a poor guide to time. A journey of eight kilometres can take twenty minutes or ninety depending on the hour and the day.
When you book, tell us the appointment time rather than the departure time. We will work backwards, choose the departure that makes it realistic, and tell you honestly if the schedule you have in mind is unlikely to hold.
Extending on the day
Bookings of this kind overrun constantly, and it is worth knowing how that is handled before it happens rather than negotiating it in a hospital car park.
The mechanism is simple: message the driver or message us, and the extra time is added at the rate agreed when you booked. There is no renegotiation and no surcharge for the inconvenience of asking.
The one limit is availability. A driver released at four may have a booking at five, and where that is the case we will say so at the time and arrange a replacement rather than leaving you to discover it. If you already suspect the day will run long, tell us at booking and the driver is held accordingly.

What is the minimum hourly car hire booking?
A minimum applies and is confirmed in your quote. If your requirement is close to half a day, we will tell you when daily hire is the better value option rather than quietly billing more hours.
Does waiting time cost extra?
No — waiting is included within the hours you have booked. That is the point of hourly hire. Only time beyond your booked hours is charged, at the rate agreed in advance.
Can I book hourly hire at short notice?
Often yes, subject to availability. Message us on WhatsApp with the time and pickup address and we will confirm quickly, or tell you straight away if we cannot cover it.
