Rent a car with a driver in Moulvibazar

Moulvibazar town is roughly 60 km from Sylhet city, usually an hour to an hour and a half. From Osmani airport most families go straight there rather than into Sylhet first — tell us the final address when you book and we will route accordingly.

Coming from Dhaka, the district sits just off the N2, so a Moulvibazar drop is a modest detour on the Dhaka to Sylhet run.

As across the Sylhet region, the last part of the journey is usually the difficult part. Give us the union and the nearest bazaar along with the village name, and tell us whether the approach road takes a large vehicle.

Where access is tight, we will plan a transfer point rather than discovering the problem with a full microbus and a family's luggage on board.

The tea estates around Sreemangal and Kamalganj are the headline, along with Madhabpur Lake. Hakaluki haor, one of the largest wetlands in the country, is at its most striking in the winter bird season and in the high water of late monsoon.

Madhabkunda waterfall in Barlekha is the district's best-known single attraction and a straightforward day out with a car.
