Airport transfers

Airport pickup and transfers across Bangladesh

The busiest twenty metres of your trip is the pavement outside arrivals. Book the car before you fly and that part simply does not happen — the driver is already there, already briefed and already paid for.

How it works

Four things that make an airport collection go right

None of them are complicated. All of them are the difference between a calm arrival and a bad one.

  1. 01

    Send the flight number

Not just the date. It lets us time the driver against the actual arrival and absorb a delay without charging you for it.

  2. 02

Agree the meeting point in writing

You get the driver's name, the vehicle and exactly where to walk. At busy arrivals that is worth more than anything else.

  3. 03

Size the vehicle for the luggage

The most common airport failure is a car too small for the bags. Send passenger and case counts and we will get it right.

  4. 04

Decide the onward journey before you land

If you are heading straight to Sylhet or the coast, that is a different booking and a different vehicle. Plan it now, not at the kerb.

Onward journeys

Landing at one airport and travelling somewhere else

A large share of arrivals never enter the city they land in. These are the journeys we run most often straight from arrivals.

Answers

Frequently asked questions

How do I find my driver at a Bangladeshi airport?

We agree the exact meeting point in writing before you fly and send you the driver's name and vehicle details. Walk to that point rather than responding to anyone who approaches you in the arrivals crowd — none of them are your driver.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We monitor the flight and adjust the driver's arrival. A delay outside your control is never charged as waiting time.

How long will the driver wait after I land?

A complimentary waiting period is included and stated in your booking confirmation. Beyond that, waiting is charged at a rate agreed in advance, so there is nothing to negotiate at the kerb.

Can I book an airport transfer from the UK before I fly?

Yes — most of our airport work is booked that way. Send the flight number, passenger and luggage numbers and the destination address, and everything is confirmed in writing before departure. See booking from the UK.

Do you cover overnight and early-morning arrivals?

Yes. Many international flights into Dhaka and Sylhet land in the early hours, and those collections are entirely routine.

What size vehicle do I need for an airport pickup?

Luggage decides it more often than passengers. Four adults arriving from Britain with two cases each will not fit in a saloon — send both numbers and we will recommend between an MPV, a microbus and the Grand Cabin.
