Microbus rental with driver in Bangladesh

Air-conditioned microbus hire with a professional driver — the standard way Bangladeshi families and groups travel together, whether that is an airport run for twelve people or a week of touring.

Everyone in one vehicle

No convoy of separate cars, no group split across taxis, no one arriving an hour after everyone else.

Luggage that actually fits

The reason most arriving families book a microbus rather than two cars.

Priced per journey or per day

Airport runs at a fixed price, touring by the day, both agreed before you travel.

Microbus, Hiace, Noah — what people mean

Terminology in Bangladesh is loose, so it is worth being precise. Microbus usually means a Toyota Hiace-class vehicle with eleven seats. Grand Cabin or Jambo means the longer thirteen-seat version. Noah is the seven-seat MPV, which people sometimes also call a microbus.

If relatives in Bangladesh have told you to book a microbus, they almost certainly mean the 11-seat Hiace class. Tell us your passenger and luggage numbers and we will confirm which is actually right.

The most common microbus bookings

Airport collection
A large family arriving on one flight with a full set of international luggage.
Intercity group travel
Whole families moving between Dhaka and Sylhet, or on to Cox's Bazar.
Wedding guest transport
Repeat runs between hotels and venues across an evening.
Multi-day touring
A vehicle and driver assigned to a group for a week of travel.

The loading time nobody plans for

A group of eleven with international luggage takes fifteen to twenty minutes to load properly. It sounds trivial written down and it is the reason a great many airport departures leave late.

Our drivers load rather than watch, which is most of the difference. But the time still exists, and where it matters — a flight to catch, a wedding to reach, a schedule with other vehicles in it — we build it into the plan rather than treating departure as instantaneous.

The same applies at the other end. A family arriving at a village house at midnight is not unloaded and settled in ninety seconds, and a driver who has been told the schedule allows for it behaves quite differently from one who is watching the clock.

One more thing worth knowing: on a group booking the driver is doing more than driving. He is loading, keeping eleven people together at a service stop, and knowing which of the two vehicles a split party is in. That is why we assign the same driver across a multi-day group booking rather than whoever is free each morning — by the second day he knows the group, and the whole thing runs faster.

Answers

Microbus Hire — your questions

How many people fit in a microbus in Bangladesh?

Eleven passengers plus the driver in the standard Hiace class. The longer Grand Cabin seats thirteen. Tell us both your passenger and luggage counts, because luggage is usually the binding constraint.

Can a microbus collect us from Dhaka or Sylhet airport?

Yes — it is the most common airport booking for larger families. See airport transfers for how meeting and waiting work.

Is a microbus comfortable for a long journey?

Yes. On the highway it is one of the more comfortable options because of the space. It is less convenient inside old city neighbourhoods and narrow lanes.
